November 9, 2009: Verona
Nick Terezakis, 16years, GISS Australia/Melbourne Phoenix player has officially signed with historic club Hellas Verona. Nick has been living in Italy with other players from abroad with the Zane Project, and will now move to club headquarters in Verona.
Morris comments: ''I'm very pleased for Nick as he is a great player and a person who deserves the best, as he was one of our first ever players to join the Academy, and at the age of 13 yrs. There's a saying that sometimes you find the best talents in your own back yard; I found Nick in my sister Gaby's backyard, as they are next door neighbours. Good luck Nick.''
Joe's comments: ''Great to see Nick go to such a big club, as he is the first ever signed Australian at the club. It's been a pleasure coaching him for the past 3 years both in Australia and Italy."
Nick's comments: ''I'm over the moon to have started my career at such a famous club... and many thanks to GISS for giving me this opportunity.''
