Three GISS players have officially signed with Italian serie B team Vicenza Calcio: Nick Modaffari (GISS Australia), Anthony Carter (GISS Australia) and Marcel DeBellis (GISS Canada) go on to join at Vicenza two signed GISS players Steve Maselli (GISS Australia), and Paolo Rogato (GISS Canada). Morris comments: "Having five players signed at this great club is good news for our academy, and reflects the work that's gone into getting them to this level. All credit to our academy coaches."

Joe's comments: "I'm very happy for the boys, it's been a pleasure having trained them, both in Italy (Zane program) and Australia."

We would also like to congratulate our other two GISS players from Melbourne who participated in the July 18+ tour in 2009; Julian Buzzanca (Monte Silvano) and Riky Spano (Atletico Torino), who are both doing well in their respective clubs in Italian Eccellenza level.
