The Genova International July-August 18+ tour 2009 ends on a high: yesterday saw the third successful tour end, the prestigious summer tour seeing GISS play against Torino Calcio, Siena, Mantova, Cittadella, Vicenza, Chievo, and Sambonificese. Read some online press on the tour here.

Directors comments: "This year saw another successful tour, not only to put our GISS Australian and Canadian players on show, but also new GISS players from Malaysia. I'd say that the quality of the players is always getting stronger. All credit to the GISS coaching staff. And for our players to be able to compete against these teams is great, especially to be able to play alongside players like Samuel Dalla Bono, ex Chelsea, Milan, Napoli, and Ivan Vukomanovic, ex Bordeaux, Lokeren, Red Star, Dynamo Moscow. And now both GISS players are awaiting new contracts."
